Despite the number of times I’ve told myself I have nothing to say, I can’t stop blogging.
The quick rundown on me:
I’ve been writing most of my life, and have written professionally since 1998.
I have written award-winning trade journal articles, plays that have been produced more than 100 times in the US and UK* since 2004 and have been published by Heuer and Smith & Kraus, a dozen or so short stories that appeared in small press magazines and e-zines, more than 500 reviews of ambient and electronic music releases–along with producing a bi-weekly podcast of that music, which has been downloaded more than 20,000 times since it debuted in June 2009–and newspaper columns. I haveĀ taught writing despite firmly believing that it can’t be taught, it can only be encouraged. For the last 7 years I’ve worked as a senior copywriter for a pair of national retail companies. (You’d know the names.)
When I’m not writing, I’m a dad to two wonderful kids, and I try to live as quietly as possible in my hometown south of Boston.
I also happen to love corned beef hash and scrambled eggs.

*And Newfoundland, which I think is a pretty cool thing.
